Hijab Ban Upheld in Isiolo School

A High Court decision has ruled against allowing Muslim female students to wear hijab and white trousers at St Paul Kiwanjani Secondary School in Isiolo.

According to the ruling by High Court judge Harun Makau, the decision made by the Teachers Service Commission and the Isiolo County education office to permit female students at the school to wear hijab during classes was deemed illegal and discriminatory.
