Kenya Ports Authority to Manage Kisumu Port Facilities

The Kisumu port, currently owned by the Kenya Railways Corporation, is set to be managed by the Kenya Ports Authority. This development comes as the port has been underutilized for nearly a decade, despite handling cargo worth billions of shillings in the past and having immense potential to boost the local economy and generate jobs.
