Senaator Moses Wetangula has urged the police to arrest Paul Kobia, a businessman who was hospitalized after becoming violent at his home in Runda.
According to police, Kobia's family took him to Gigiri police station following the incident, during which he allegedly stated, 'I killed Fidel'.
Speaking at Fidel Odinga's funeral, Wetangula emphasized that it is not the police's role to determine someone's sanity, but rather the court's responsibility. He made this statement in the context of calling for Kobia's arrest.
Other speakers at the funeral service, held at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, expressed doubts about the natural cause of Fidel's death.
Lawyer Kethi Kilonzo mentioned the presence of poachers in the area where Fidel died, who were killing lions.
