A student killed in the Garissa University attack, Mary Wachira, also known as Shee, had posted updates on Facebook before the attack that have been interpreted by some as predicting her death.
Her final updates included lyrics and reflections. One post read:
Wen am gone...wen am gone u gonna miss me wen am gone...u gonna miss me by my hair u gonna miss me everywhere...u gonna miss me wen am gone.. #singing...pitchperfect/becca
Another post stated:
N al be gone gone tonight...the ground beneath my feet is open wide#onedirection
A spiritual message was also shared:
Lord i saw your face last night as i looked in the sky you were smiling you said its gonna be alright said you will make a way in my rough times coz every time i see your smile and everytime i feel your touch makes me know i face tomorrow one more time
