A week after the release of the star-studded song Fimbo ya Tatu, rumors have emerged about tension between Grandpa Records management and one of its artists who was left out of the collaboration.

Singer Kidis was reportedly dropped from the list of artists featured in the song due to a prior disagreement with the management over unpaid royalties.

According to Grandpa Records CEO Refigah, Kidis was excluded from the collaboration because the label is considering terminating his contract. Refigah stated,

We are at a level where my record label is looking into terminating the contract with Kiddis, that’s why we could not include him in the new song.

The controversy surrounding Fimbo ya Tatu may impact the reputations of featured artists Sauti Sol and Wyre, who have largely avoided controversy in their careers.

The recovered account cited reporting by E! News.
