Kenyan gospel artist Willy Paul has been nominated for the Best African Entertainer award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).

Willy Paul, known for his hit song Kitanzi, is the only Kenyan gospel artist nominated in the Jamaican/USA-based awards. He will compete against top African musicians, including Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Bracket from Nigeria, Eddy Kenzo from Uganda, and Davido from Nigeria.
Willy Paul urged his fans to vote for him, saying: Oh My Jesus! This is the best news ever... I have been nominated in this big award by the name IRAWMA... I am the only best Gospel artist nominated in East Africa nominated with the song Tam tam.
