Juja MP Francis Munyua Waititu is facing allegations of sending a death threat to a 25-year-old Mpesa lady from Kasarani, Nairobi, after she declined his proposal.
According to Martha Wanjiru Wahome, the lady in question, she received the threats on July 29, just hours after rejecting Waititu's proposal to terminate her four-month-old pregnancy. She claims that Waititu had impregnated her but fled after she informed him of the pregnancy.
Wahome stated that she received calls and text messages warning her that the Mungiki would attack her if she failed to comply with Waititu's wishes. She also claimed that Waititu sent her KES 20,000 via Mpesa for the termination, which she declined.
Wahome alleged that she had been in a relationship with Waititu for 13 months and refused to terminate her pregnancy. This is not the first time Waititu has faced such allegations; earlier in the year, his Private Secretary accused him of sacking her after she turned down his sexual advances.
