A Member of Parliament from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) experienced a disruption to his plans over Easter weekend when a flight he had booked from Kisumu to Nairobi was cancelled.

The MP had also made a reservation for his companion at a hotel in the city, but this was cancelled following the flight cancellation. He was reportedly overheard expressing frustration at the airline's offices, saying, "You should know people, why mess my Easter Plan. I will ensure somebody is fired."

According to reports, the MP has been using medication to enhance his physical performance, which has allegedly taken a toll on his health. Earlier in the year, he collapsed while riding a motorcycle during a visit to his constituency.
