A custom Calvin Klein gown worn by Lupita Nyong’o at the Academy Awards was stolen from her hotel room and later thrown over the balcony, according to a report.
The incident occurred after the Oscars on Sunday, February 22, 2015. The thief took the dress and threw it over the balcony to another person, as reported by TMZ.
Before disposing of the dress, the thief removed two pearls and took them to a valuer. The valuer determined that the pearls were fake.
