Police arrested two individuals suspected of terrorism on Tuesday, stating that they were seeking three additional suspects.
According to the authorities, the group was allegedly planning to carry out a major attack on a Nairobi mall on Wednesday.
The Daily Nation reported that the two suspects were apprehended at 3 pm after collecting a parcel from a courier office in Ngong Town.
Sources indicated that undercover officers, who had been waiting for several hours, opened the parcel and found a live bullet inside.
