On July 24, 2019, Nkana Football Club announced the re-signing of Congolese striker Idriss Mbombo from Al Hilal Omdurman of Sudan. Mbombo signed a two-year contract with the Kitwe giants after being cleared by FIFA to rejoin his former club.
The move marks a significant return for Mbombo, who will now be back with Nkana Football Club for the foreseeable future.
