A 100-year-old grandmother, Margaret Ngima Gakoromo, who was being held at the Embu GK Prison, has been released after Embu Governor Martin Wambora paid her bail.
According to DAILY NATION, Governor Wambora engaged lawyer Wairimu Rugaita to pay the Sh.100,000 cash bail, saving Gakoromo from serving a three-month jail term.
