Bogonko Bosire, CEO of The Jackal News, has been missing for over three months, and there has been growing pressure on Dennis Itumbi to provide information about his whereabouts.
In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Dennis Itumbi denied any involvement in Bosire's disappearance. He wrote,
...Dickson Bogonko Bosire where art thou? If you are alive at least get a way to let me know, a day does not go before am asked where you are or where I took you....you and me know the truth. I have sincerely done all what a friend and former schoolmate can do. I do not want to believe you are dead, because surely you cannot disappear without a trace or a hint. I therefore work with the belief you are alive....can a man just disappear like that? I refuse to accept. I will now petition Parliament in my Capacity as Kenya Citizen 22219988.Together with those you made laugh with your easy style we will not rest....#FindBogonko
Itumbi's statement suggests that he believes Bosire may still be alive and expressed his intention to petition Parliament to help find him.
