Janet Mbugua Ndichu, a popular anchor on Citizen TV, is expected to take maternity leave starting October 2015.
According to available information, her maternity leave is scheduled to last until December, with a possible extension.
Mbugua Ndichu married Eddie Ndichu, her long-time friend, on May 30, 2015, at Chaka Ranch, while she was already pregnant.
She currently hosts the Monday Special on Citizen TV, which focuses on family issues and prime time news, earning her a reported monthly salary of Ksh 800,000.
During her absence, Hussein Muhammed and Jackie Maribe will host the show.
