Parliament Majority Leader Aden Duale has been left to address the NYS saga on his own after being mentioned in connection with the scandal.

Duale held a press conference on Wednesday to clarify his involvement in the Sh 1.6 billion lost from NYS accounts. Notably, no other legislator from the Jubilee administration was present to support him.

During the press conference, Duale expressed frustration and stated that he would suspend his campaign activities in Kericho and Malindi to focus on pursuing Ann Waiguru, who he claimed had improperly disbursed funds to her relatives.

According to Duale,

"that woman disbursed millions of shillings to her relatives through the basements of unnamed city buildings"

and

"I am telling Waiguru that she has now touched a live wire."

Reports suggest significant divisions within the Jubilee coalition, with growing suspicion between its members. These tensions may soon escalate into public confrontations.
