President Uhuru Kenyatta has been spending time at Sagana State Lodge, with some reports indicating he has been keeping to himself since returning from a US trip.
According to accounts, after arriving back in the country, the President went to Sagana State Lodge with a limited number of aides. It is reported that he has been using a secure Presidential line to communicate with unknown individuals.
Upon a brief return to State House in Nairobi, he inspected his residence, which is under renovation, before requesting his KAF helicopter to return to Sagana. At the lodge, the President has been seen walking around and greeting local residents without his security detail.
A neighbor described him as a down-to-earth person who greets everyone he meets.
