Nyando MP Fred Outa was involved in a confrontation with the Kisumu County agriculture CEC at an agricultural meeting in Nyando.
The two reportedly disagreed, almost coming to blows as residents looked on. The MP was restrained by his guards and a handful of men.
This incident comes two months after Outa was arrested at a girl's school at night. He had responded to a distress call that students were protesting and were about to burn the school.
According to reports, while addressing the students, Outa said that the interdicted school principal, Sister Sarah Adipo, must be reinstated immediately. He also allegedly told the deputy county commissioner and police officers to leave the school compound.
The police then arrested Outa and took him to Ahero police station, where he was locked up.
The recovered account cited reporting by Tuko.
