KTN news anchor Joy Doreen Biira expressed disappointment over grammatical errors made by her colleagues in a photo caption published in The Standard newspaper.

A photo caption about a road accident along Othaya-Kiria-ini Road contained several grammatical mistakes, including the phrase: "Relatives of the late Mary Kimani display a photo she was passed away on February 8 2016 after a truck which they were traveling in together with her colleagues involved in a grisly road accident along Othaya-Kiria-ini Road, four women hails from the Kagicha village in Othaya were died on the spot."

Joy Doreen Biira shared her thoughts on the matter via Instagram, seeking help from PLO Lumumba, known for his strong command of the English language.
