President Uhuru Kenyatta condemned the illegal manner in which some residents of Central Kenya were enforcing his order to crack down on peddlers of illicit alcoholic drinks.

Speaking during a church service at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Kimbu on Sunday, July 5, 2015, the president urged residents to respect people's property.
