Ugandan artist Jose Chameleone caused a stir on the streets of Nairobi on a Saturday morning when the vehicle he was driving was mobbed by a sizable number of his fans.
Chameleone, who was driving along Kimathi Street in his customized Escalade, was forced to acknowledge his fans after parking a few meters from Nation Centre.
According to the musician, "I appreciate the love, Kenya is my home… please try and give your all to whatever you do… you never know." He is popular for hits such as Kipepeo, Valu Valu, Badilisha, and Wale Wale.
Chameleone also confirmed that he will be releasing two "super big" videos in the coming months.
After the commotion, the musician and his crew walked into the nearby Ranalo bar and restaurant.
Though Ugandan by birth, Chameleone has a work station in Nairobi, where he launched his music career more than a decade ago. He is also said to earn more than fifty percent of his income from his fans in Kenya.
