Get ready to experience the rich cultural heritage of Africa at the 'African Inspirations' art exhibition, taking place at Fairmont The Norfolk in Nairobi from July 25th to August 4th.
Curated by Lisa Christoffersen, the exhibition showcases a unique collection of rare and valuable tribal arts, available for purchase. Art and design lovers are invited to the exhibition's opening night event on Thursday, July 25th, at 6.00pm at the Cin Cin lounge bar.
Guests who arrive first will receive a complimentary welcome cocktail, served with sweet and savory canapés. The exhibition aims to provide a platform for different art exhibitors to display their works and content.
According to Axel Hauser, General Manager of Fairmont The Norfolk, 'The importance of art in preserving the culture of a society cannot be overlooked.' The event is an opportunity for Kenyan artists to showcase their works and for guests to experience local heritage.
The exhibition will feature African tribal art, including paintings, carvings, and artefacts, which will be on display at the Cin Cin lounge. The art will perfectly complement the bar's blend of early 1900s British design with modern art influences.
