The new Terminal 4 building at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is nearing completion, with an official opening scheduled by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The terminal features a design that facilitates the free flow of passenger movement within a spacious environment. It also includes a clear division between arriving, departing, and transiting passengers.
Following the fire that damaged the international arrivals unit last year, construction of the new terminal was expedited.
