Botswana President's Kenya Visit Boosts Bilateral Ties

On July 24, 2019, Botswana President Dr Masisi concluded a visit to Kenya at the invitation of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

During the visit, Dr Masisi and President Kenyatta held talks to deepen and expand bilateral cooperation in areas such as agriculture, trade and investment, tourism, defence and security, health, mining, and education.

The two leaders also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Dr Masisi was expected to return home on the same day.
