Paris Saint-Germain suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Bordeaux, denting their defense of the Ligue 1 crown. The loss came after PSG's dramatic Champions League last-16 victory over Chelsea.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalized twice for Laurent Blanc's side, but Diego Rolan scored the winning goal in the 89th minute. Ibrahimovic criticized referee Lionel Jaffredo, saying,
In 15 years, I have never seen such a referee. In this shit country, this country does not deserve PSG.
Coach Laurent Blanc attributed the loss to fatigue and lack of motivation after their Champions League efforts.
We did something special on Wednesday and everyone is talking about it, which is normal, but to play 10 against 11 for 90 minutes against a team like Chelsea leaves its mark.
The defeat is only the third of the season for PSG, who remain one point behind leaders Lyon. Bordeaux took the lead in the first half, with Lamine Sane scoring from a corner. Ibrahimovic then equalized after a goalkeeping error, but Wahbi Khazri put Bordeaux ahead again before Ibrahimovic's second equalizer.
In other Ligue 1 matches, Lille defeated Rennes 3-0, with Divock Origi scoring a hat-trick. Saint-Etienne beat Metz 3-2, while Lens won 1-0 against Toulouse. Lorient also picked up three points with a 2-1 win over Caen, and Montpellier defeated Reims 3-1.
