Cristiano Ronaldo stated he would not speak to the press again until the end of the season following Real Madrid's match against Schalke on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo scored two goals as the defending champions came from behind twice against the German side. He drew level with Lionel Messi on 75 strikes in the Champions League. However, Madrid lost 4-3 on the night and narrowly avoided a humiliating exit in front of their own fans.
According to footage from Canal Plus, Ronaldo expressed frustration during the game, telling team-mate Karim Benzema, "this is embarrassing" in the closing stages.
