Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko's bodyguard, Bakari Tuma, was killed by unknown assailants in Kasarani.
Tuma was shot several times in the face and killed while returning to his home in Linet Estate, Kasarani. His pistol was stolen during the incident.
Sonko confirmed the incident and instructed the police to start investigations.
According to reports, Sonko has more than four bodyguards who are well-trained.
