A TV reporter and cameraman for WDBJ7 in Roanoke, Virginia, were shot and killed during a live report, according to the station.
The victims were identified as Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27. At the time of the shooting, Parker was interviewing Vicki Gardner of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, who was also shot in the back, the Roanoke Times reported. Gardner underwent surgery, according to the Times.
The suspect, 41-year-old Vester Lee Flanagan II, also known as Bryce Williams, allegedly shot himself after posting a video of the attack on social media, The Daily Caller reported.
