NTV investigative journalist Dennis Okari has revealed that he left his job at BBC to be closer to his daughter, Ivanna, and watch her grow.
Okari made the revelation while celebrating Ivanna's 1st birthday. In a message to his daughter, he expressed his joy and commitment to providing her with the best life possible.
It was worth leaving my job and coming home to watch you grow. I recall leaving the hospital with your Mum, carrying you in my arms. That walk to the car was one of my proudest moments. Better than any presidential parade walk or any red carpet moment.
I am happy that I will break my back just for you to have the very best in life. I am not perfect but I’ll try so hard my little angel.
I’ve had these lines for many years and couldn’t wait to finally get here to write them as you turn 1 year old.
