Tejas Hirani, a 16-year-old from Kenya, won the Formula Gulf 1000 races at the Dubai Autodrome Motorsports Club.
Hirani led the competition by setting the fastest times during practice sessions and securing pole position. He broke the track lap record in Dubai, raising the standard for other racers.
According to the statement, Hirani has been identified as a potential candidate to become Kenya's first Formula 1 driver.
Formula Gulf 1000 is a program designed to equip young drivers with the skills and experience necessary to advance to higher levels of racing, including FIA F4, Formula Renault, or EuroFormula Open.
