Hate leaflets have been circulating in various areas, including Githurai and Nakuru, and now residents of Naivasha, particularly those from the Luo community, are expressing fear.
A leaflet that has been making the rounds contains a message that reads:
RAILA You had our Kikuyu youth killed in Mpeketoni, you burned their businesses, you said people should cut off the heads of our people, now the time has come for you to be dealt with. Tell the Luos in Nakuru and Naivasha to leave before the day ends. We want to see if the blood of Luos cannot be shed just like that of the Kikuyus was shed in Mpeketoni. You wanted war and now you will get it. Be prepared.
The leaflets have raised concerns about ethnic tensions in the area.
