Moses Kuria, known for his outspoken nature, has sparked controversy online after responding to a comment on Facebook with an insult in his native Gikuyu language.
The incident began when Kuria posted an update asking his followers if they had identification cards, written in Gikuyu. An upcoming politician then questioned whether the service mentioned was only available to Kikuyu speakers, suggesting it might be reserved for supporters of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In response, Kuria insulted the politician, asking what his problem was before referring to him in derogatory terms. The exchange has drawn criticism, with Kinoti Mwirigi, a supporter of NASA, expressing disappointment over Kuria's behavior.
"When you have imbeciles for leaders like Moses Kuria, expect nothing better than this," Mwirigi wrote on Facebook.
This is not the first time Kuria has faced backlash for his words. He has previously been charged with hate speech and has made controversial statements about certain Kenyan communities.
