Gor Mahia secured a spot in the finals of the Cecafa Club Championships with a 3-1 win over Sudanese club Al Khartoum on Friday.
The Kenyan Premier League champions' victory came after allegations of witchcraft had prompted the team to avoid using the dressing rooms at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam during previous matches.

Amin Elmani scored the opening goal for Al Khartoum, but Gor Mahia fought back with goals from Micheal Olunga, Innocent Wafula, and Meddie Kagere.
The winners of the regional tournament will receive a prize of Sh3 million.
Response to Allegations ¶
According to a member of Gor Mahia's technical bench, who spoke to Nairobi News on condition of anonymity, the team had been informed that the dressing rooms had been tampered with, including the use of chemicals and witchcraft, ahead of their opening match against Yanga SC.
We were reliably informed that the dressing rooms had been tampered with; someone had laced some chemicals and witchcraft so as to distract us during the opening game of the competition against the home team (Yanga SC). So we couldn’t take chances.
However, with Yanga SC eliminated from the competition, Gor Mahia's players and technical bench have begun using the dressing rooms again, as noted by the same official.
Upcoming Final Match ¶
Gor Mahia will face host team Azam in the final on Sunday, following Azam's 1-0 win over Ugandan side KCCA in the second semifinal match.
Farid Musa scored the winning goal for Azam with a volley from Ammy Ali's cross in the second half.
