A standard six pupil who drowned in the Nairobi river last week has been found. The body of Mercy Wambua, which had been missing for five days, was discovered on the banks of the Nairobi river near Michuki park.
According to reports, the body was washed downstream from Kangemi to Chiromo before being found. Mercy Wambua's father, Julius Wambua, located his daughter's body and accompanied police officers to take it to the city mortuary for preservation.
