Saumu Mbuvi, the daughter of Mike Sonko, has shared her side of the story regarding her breakup with her lover, Benson Gatu. According to Saumu, the reason for their separation was not due to rumors of her spending time with an old friend, Shaban Juma, but rather because Gatu was allegedly cheating on her with Governor Mwangi wa Iria's daughter, Rachel Wanja.
Saumu claims that Gatu had moved in with Rachel in Kileleshwa, and as a result, she saw no need to stay in their home. "They had moved in together in Kileleshwa, there was no need for me to stay," Saumu told TUKO.co.ke.
In addition to the infidelity allegations, Saumu also accused Gatu of being violent, stating that he would often hit her, which ultimately led to their breakup.
Saumu and Gatu, who met in college, are expecting a baby together. Gatu is currently vying for the Mathioya parliamentary seat, with Rachel reportedly heading his campaign front.
