Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri became unwell during court proceedings on Friday morning, prompting a temporary halt to the hearing.
Lawyer Michael Osundwa informed the court that Ngunjiri required medical attention, stating,
He is feeling dizzy and could vomit.
Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, a medical doctor, assisted Ngunjiri and helped him leave the courtroom. Ngunjiri later returned and denied charges of hate speech and incitement to violence.
