The Outer Ring road in Nairobi is nearing completion, with its development expected to minimize traffic and save resources for motorists.

According to reports, the 13-kilometer road will be divided into four sections: from GSU Junction at Thika Road to Kariobangi Junction, from Kariobangi to the Kangundo Road junction, from there to Donholm junction, and finally from Donholm to the Eastern bypass.

Deputy President William Ruto has highlighted the construction of roads across the country, although the exact number of roads developed nationwide is difficult to ascertain.

The Outer Ring road is expected to reduce traffic congestion upon completion, providing a significant improvement to the city's infrastructure.
