The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) evicted 28 workers from their homes on Sunday, July 5, 2015, in Mombasa. These workers had been dismissed on Friday, July 3, 2015, for participating in a two-day strike.

The evictions, which occurred in the afternoon, drew angry responses from local residents.
