Amani, a top Kenyan songstress, has spoken about her dating life and experiences during her university days.
Early Life and Career ¶
Amani was recently nominated for the MAMA Awards held in Durban, South Africa. Despite her success, she has had her share of hardships. In an interview with a local daily, she recounted her struggles during her time at campus.
"I was that simple girl whom nobody knew anything about. And I was frugal with cash. No shopping for me up until I finished school," she revealed.
Dating Life ¶
Amani also spoke about her dating life, revealing that she dated the same person for eleven years. However, she chose not to disclose the identity of her ex-lover.
"Again, I won’t tell you whom I dated, but I did. I dated the same person from age 16 to 27. Same guy," she added.
Education and Music Career ¶
Amani is a graduate of USIU, holding a degree in Business Administration. After taking a break from the music industry, she has recently made a comeback with her hit single, Kiboko Changu, featuring Radio and Weasel.
