Bodaboda operators in Kisii County claim they offer free rides to Kisii University students in exchange for sex.

According to these operators, some female students are unable to afford the fare and instead offer their bodies as payment. One operator, identified as Mogaka, stated that he has sex regularly due to the number of female students he transports daily, many of whom prefer to pay in kind.

Some married operators expressed concern that accepting sex as payment leaves them without sufficient earnings to support their families.
