Emily Wanjiru, who gained fame after reciting a winning poem to President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, has adjusted well to her new school in Runyenjes.
Following her performance, President Kenyatta pledged to support Emily's family, including relocating them from Gachororo slum and sponsoring her education. She was enrolled in St Petroc Premier School, where she is reportedly performing well academically.
