Google Doodle Commemorates Kimani Ng'ang'a Maruge's Historic First Day at School

Google honored the late Kimani Ng'ang'a Maruge with a Google Doodle, celebrating the 11th anniversary of his first day at school. Maruge became the world's oldest person to start primary school, earning a spot in the Guinness World Records. At the age of 84, he joined Kapkenduiywo Primary School in Eldoret on January 12, 2004, after the government introduced free primary education.
