A London court has found two British nationals guilty of corruptly obtaining tenders from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in a scandal known locally as Chickengate.
The International Centre for Policy and Conflict has called for the IEBC chair and several officials to be removed from their positions following the court's decision.
According to the centre, the IEBC Chairman, Ahmed Issack Hassan, must take full responsibility and be held to account for high-level corruption within the electoral body.
