A funeral announcement has been made for Dr. JJJ Okoth Okoth, who passed away while working at John Hopkins hospital in the USA.
Dr. Okoth was the son of the late Prof. Eng. Okoth senior and his wife Msc. Phil. LLM. Okoth Darling, both from England.
He is survived by his brother, Emeritus Oluoch Pamba, who resides in Moscow, and his children, including Okoth Jr., a top student in the 2011 KCSE, and Babie Agal, a top Kiswahili student in Nyanza Province.
According to the announcement, the late Dr. Okoth's body will be flown back to Kenya on July 19, 2015, via a private chartered jet, followed by a prayer service at his home in Lavington on July 20, 2015.
The funeral procession will then proceed to his home in Sakwa, Bondo, Siaya County, where friends and family are invited to pay their respects.
The announcement also notes that Dr. Okoth was loved by many, including his family, friends, and various organizations, but adds that 'God loved you more.'
