A former State House officer, Wilson Mburu, has a court hearing scheduled in his bid to halt the Kabete by-election.
The case, filed against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the Attorney-General, will be heard by High Court Judge Isaac Lenaola.
According to the court directive, Justice Lenaola instructed Mr Mburu to serve the sued parties and appear in court for an inter partes hearing.
