Drama unfolded on Baricho Road in Nairobi when flying squad officers engaged in a fierce gun battle with robbers in broad daylight.
According to reports, the robbers attempted to steal from a Wells Fargo cash-in-transit vehicle.
Two robbers were shot dead during the incident. One was killed along Baricho Road, while the other was pursued by flying squad officers and eventually neutralized along Bunyala Road after shooting at the officers during his attempted escape.
A police officer was also shot and injured in the crossfire.
