Kabete MP George Muchai, his two bodyguards, and a driver were shot dead in Nairobi on Saturday morning.
The four were driving in a Toyota Fortuner vehicle when a masked gunman shot them at close range at about 2:30 am at the Kenyatta Avenue-Uhuru Highway roundabout. They all died on their seats, except for one bodyguard who appeared to have died while trying to step out.
According to witnesses, the victims had stopped at the roundabout near Nyayo House to buy newspapers when a white salon Probox hit the vehicle on the right side and stopped a few meters ahead.
