A South African Pastor, Prophet Penuel of End Times Disciples’ Ministries in Gauteng, South Africa, has sparked controversy after asking members of his congregation in need of prayers to strip and lie on the ground.

Photos of the incident, which were initially shared on the church’s Facebook page, show Pastor Penuel stepping on the nearly naked congregation members. The photos were later deleted following backlash from angry readers.

A comment on Facebook described the pastor's actions as being in a "disturbing manner that can attract wrath of human rights activists."

In some of the photos, taken at night, Pastor Penuel is seen holding a microphone and delivering a sermon. The church captioned one of the pictures: "Total demonstration of God Power, no pain in them; meaning God is with us. To God be the glory."

Notably, the individuals appearing to strip do so voluntarily, without any visible coercion.
