Citizen TV’s Mike Njenga married Phoebe Wanjiku at PCEA Evergreen in Runda in a ceremony attended by family and friends.
Njenga and Wanjiku met at a dinner hosted by mutual friends three years ago and decided to tie the knot this January.
In an exclusive interview with Citizen Digital, Njenga recalled having an instant connection with Wanjiku from the moment he met her: "I walked to where the guys had sat and I made it known that if anyone shows interest in Phoebe, I would wreck their dental formula."
Njenga described the couple’s deep bond, saying they share many inside jokes and can sense each other’s reactions even from across the room: "We automatically turn to look at each other" when they see something they both relate to.
The couple’s wedding marks a new chapter in their relationship, with well-wishers including Royal Media Services extending their congratulations.
