Ahead of the visit by former US President Barack Obama, the Nairobi County Commissioner has announced the closure of several roads in the city.
The affected roads include Waiyaki Way, Uhuru Highway, and Mombasa Road, which will be closed from 2 pm on Friday. On Saturday, Thika Road, Limuru Road, and Waiyaki Way will be closed.
Kenyans have been advised to cooperate and avoid areas where they have not been invited. The closures are expected to impact normal operations in the city, with many activities coming to a standstill during the three-day visit.
