Njoki Chege has shared guidelines for married women in Nairobi based on her research and interviews with married men.
Chege advises women to spy on their husbands, monitoring their phone activity, emails, and social media interactions. She suggests going through their belongings and looking for signs of infidelity, such as strange scents or unfamiliar items.
Joining Social Media Groups ¶
Chege recommends joining groups like Kilimani Mums or Hello Mamas, where women can share their marital concerns and receive advice from others.
Being Over-Protective ¶
Chege suggests that married women should be protective of their husbands, accompanying them to public places and keeping a close eye on their interactions with other women.
Not Submitting ¶
Chege advises against submissiveness, instead encouraging women to be strong-willed and quarrelsome, disagreeing with their husbands and doing the opposite of what they suggest.
These guidelines are presented as Chege's opinion and may not reflect the views of all married women or experts on relationships.
